TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

No agent or representative is authorized to alter these conditions; any variance thereof can only be made in writing duly signed by an officer of GKI.

1.  GENERAL
   • Prices are effective at time of shipment or per quotation, superseding all previous prices.
   • We reserve the right to change prices without notice unless previous arrangements have been made.
   • Repair orders will proceed upon receipt of order unless customer specifically requests that order be held for price approval.
   • Rush orders are subject to an additional rush charge.  Contact our office for applicable charges. 
   • Repair prices do not include components (inserts, shims, pins, screws, etc.) unless specifically noted on the order.
   • Over & under shipment allowance
2.   DELIVERY
   • All prices are F.O.B.  Crystal Lake, Illinois.  Special shipping charges may be applicable on rush orders. 
3. CLAIMS
• Since title and right of possession pass to customer upon delivery to carrier, claims of  damaged or lost shipments must be made to carrier.  GKI must be notified of such  claims within three  (3) days.  All shipping boxes and materials must be saved for any claim to be allowed. 
• Heat treating or other operations necessary to recondition tooling may result in further and irreparable damage.  Liability as such shall not exceed the amount of GKI’s normal charges to perform the repairs.     
• Liability for lost tooling shall not exceed twice the amount of GKI’s normal charges to perform the repairs. 
• GKI shall not be liable to buyer or any other person for special, indirect, incidental, consequential or exemplary losses, damages or expenses, directly or indirectly arising from the sale, handling or use of the products or services or from any other cause relating thereto.
4. TERMS
   • Net 30 days
   • No cash discounts for prompt payment are offered.
   • Legal fees required for collection of invoice will be responsibility of the customer. 
   • Late paying customers will be placed on C.O.D.; orders may be placed on Credit Hold until full payment of previous orders is received. 
5. RETURN & CANCELLATION POLICY
   • Cancelled orders are subject to charges for work completed or for restocking. 
   • Customer responsible for full price of components (when included with repairs) should order be cancelled.
   • Tooling returned due to improper repair will be reworked at no charge, full payment is expected on the original order.
   • When returning supply division products, call for RGA number prior to shipment. 
6. GUARANTEE
   • Tools reconditioned by GKI are guaranteed to function as good as originally manufactured. 
   • GKI is not liable for any changes or modifications in tool or tool specifications that were made by other parties. 
   • Tools reconditioned by GKI more than three (3) times are not guaranteed.  Tools previously reconditioned by any other source are not guaranteed. 
   • GKI warrants that the products or services sold hereunder shall be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service when correctly installed, used and maintained. 
7. WARNING
   • Grinding produces hazardous dust.  To avoid adverse health effects, use adequate ventilation and read material safety data sheet first.  Cemented carbide, ceramic cutting tips and cutting tools may chip or fragment in use.  Always use machine guards, protective clothing and safety glasses to prevent burns or other injury to body or eyes from flying particles or chips.
